Felipa Rodriguez Herrera

Felipa Rodriguez Herrera, 84, of Freeport, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Brazoria County, Felipa was a devoted member of St. Mary's Church and a proud mother to her children. Known for her love of family, Felipa leaves behind a lasting legacy in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren whom she cherished dearly. Felipa also loved and cherished all of her brothers and sisters and her nieces and nephew's

 An avid supporter of her community, she was a member of the Guadalupanas at St. Mary's Church and enjoyed her family time. She is survived by sons: Nino Herrera (Cindy), Alex Herrera (Delfilia), Rudy Herrera, she is also survived by her brothers & spouses; Mingo Rodriguez (Minnie), Edward Rodriguez (Esther), and Fred Rodriguez, her sisters & spouses; Leo Ledesma, Mary Arroyo (Antonio), her grandchildren & spouses: Dyann Herrera, Deana Mihalovich (Paul), Stephanie Denbow (Daryl), Jonathan Herrera (Toni), Alex Herrera Jr., Anthony Herrera (Sheryl), Christina Herrera, Cindy Royston (Dominick), Jenny Herrera, Krystal Herrera, Alexis Herrera, Cassandra Aleman, Tiffany Robles (Victor), Rudy Michael Herrera, Ryan Herrera, Daniel Herrera Jr. and Eric Herrera (Paige).  She is also survived by her 33great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Rodriguez & Susana Rodriguez, her brother Lawrence Rodriguez, and her son Daniel Herrera.

 Join us in celebrating Felipa's life at a memorial service to be held at Palms Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with Father Sebastine Soja Okoye leading the service. Following the memorial, a visitation will be held until 5:00 pm for friends and family to pay their respects. Her love, laughter, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace and her memories live forever in our hearts.
