Fernando Xavier Hernndez,Sr., 57, of Freeport passed away on December 1, 2022. Fernando was born on December 19, 1964, in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents Julian and Eutemia (Leija) Hernndez. Fernando loved to be out on the water with a fishing pole in his hands. His family was his greatest treasure. Time spent with them was most important to him and playing with his grandkids brought him the greatest joy. Preceding him in death are his parents Julian and Eutemia Hernndez. Those left to remember him include his wife, Laura Hernandez; daughter, Norma Garza and husband Lupe; son Fernando Hernandez, Jr. and wife Maria; grandchildren: Leah, Layla, Lindssey, Lilian, Edgar, Aleah, and Laura; and numerous other family members and friends.
