Flora B. Luna, 68, of Angleton, Texas passed away August 1, 2015. She was born August 14, 1946 to Juan and Lucy (Chavez) Barrera in Portland, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Angleton, Texas. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday evening, August 3, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. She was a loving mother to more than just her children. She was an awesome Grandma & Nana. Flora fought a brave and courageous fight with cancer. Flora is survived by her son, Steve Luna (Nancy), daughter, Stephanie Theriot (Wesley), her special friend, Frank Serbantez, her "other kids," Manuel Ochoa & Madeline Rhodes, her sisters; Mary Barrera, Lupe Brown, Corina Garcia, Rosa Garcia, and Angie Gonzales, as well as her grandchildren; Will Luna ( Ciara), Jennifer Theriot, Lucas Theriot, Meagan McElya, Audrey McElya, and Rachel McElya. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Luna, her parents, and several brothers & sisters.
