Frank Swift

Frank William Swift, III, 58 passed from this life at his home in Angleton September 27, 2015. Frank was born in Liberal, Kansas on March 16, 1957 during a snow storm. He was preceded in death by mother and father Ilene Mae & Frank William Swift, II and his brother Stephen Anthony. Frank is survived by his daughter, Sheena Danielle Clark & husband Derek. Also three grand-daughters, Shyla Madison, Layla Lynn & Bella Danielle who were his pride and joy. Also his beloved wife Susan, his brothers; William John Swift and his wife Julie, and Michael Swift. As well as, many friends and neighbors, who will always remember him with a smile. Frank served his country in the U.S. Navy and later worked in instrumentation and electricity at KBR Shell. He was a long time resident of New Braunfels before coming to his home in Angleton. Frank was warm, funny and always glad to see you. He was definitely his own man, free spirited and creative. He was a kind gentle soul, sweet & loving. Nobody made a better rack of lamb, tilled and shared a better garden or was a better neighbor. Frank loved making things with his hands and was very artistic, making something worthy out of what some would toss away. He was always the one who brought on the holiday spirit being especially sentimental starting in October and continuing through the New Year and really most of the time. Frank was peaceful, no drama and had a solution for your problem. He braved cancer with grace and lived life to the fullest until the very end.
