Frank W. (Pancho) Fiedler Frank W. Fiedler, 92, of Angleton passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in Angleton. Funeral Mass is set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Mr. Fiedler was born Feburary 14, 1920 in West Phalia, Texas to Herbert & Josephine (Guidy) Fiedler, Sr. He loved to fish & hunt and was an excellent cook. Frank was a very loving, caring and compassionate family man. Frank Walter Fiedler, Staff Sgt., U.S. Army, was a veteran of WWII, serving from January 1943 thru December 1945. He was engaged in heavy combat; even hand to hand fighting. He fought in Luzon, Leyte, New Guinea, and the Philippines. He always spoke highly and proudly about General MacArthur whenever he talked about his war experiences. His decorations include the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mayme Fiedler, daughers; Trudy Wallace & husband Melvin, Candace Wubbena & husband Brian all of Angleton. Sons; Frank Fiedler, Jr & wife Nancy of Conroe, Jack Fiedler & wife Cheree of Waxahahachi & Steven Ray Fiedler & Wife Lori of El Campo. 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren & 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters; Alice Rymal & Madeline Brown. Pallbearers will be Brian Wubbena, Sr, Jem Davis, Daniel Davis, Brian Wubbena, Jr., Anthony Wubbena, Marcus Fiedler, Jack Fiedler, Jr. & Matt Fiedler. Honorary pallbeares will be; David Davis, Jr., Jason Davis, Steven Fiedler, Jr. & Melvin Wallace. Provide comfort for the family by planting a tree in memory of Frank W.
