Gabriel Lee Gonzales July 23, 1969 ~ September 25, 2016 Gabriel Lee Gonzales, 47, of Angleton, Texas passed away September 25, 2016. He was born in Gando, Texas on July 23, 1969. Gabriel was a musician and an amazing saxophone player. Growing up he was in the school band from junior high through high school, held the position of first chair and was named all-state. Gabriel enjoyed football, liked to cook, and loved his children. He was preceded in death by his father Roy C. Guevara and grandparents David Garza Sr. and Maria V. Valdez Garza. Left to cherish his memory are his children David, Marissa and Gabriel Gonzales Jr.; loving companion Rosie Thomas; mother and step-father San Juanita and Daniel Gonzales; brothers Royce and Rene Guevara. Pallbearers: Jimmy Isalas, Kito Estrada, Junior Cantu, Alex Ramirez, Rene Sedillo and Ismael Ayala. Honorary Pallbearers: Dennis Hastings, Domingo Garcia, and Eddie Ramos Sr. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
