Gabriel Lynn Rubio 44, of Freeport, Tx. went to be with the lord on Sunday March 21, 2021. Gabriel was born on August 23, 1976 in Angleton, Tx. to Flor Botello Montes and Joe Rubio. He was a lifelong resident of Brazoria County, Tx. Gabriel attended Brazoswood high school. He was known for his contagious smile, laughter, and hilarious jokes and never met a stranger. He was always there to pick you up when you were feeling down, as everyone know he was a very loyal and committed friend to many. He was one to always make the best out of the worst situations. His love for music was second to none and the way he would dance, sing whether he was playing the air guitar, or the drums would absolutely crack you up. When he was feeling the music, he didn't have a care in the world and that vibe was contagious. He loved the beach and just being outdoors. His back-yard BBQ's were unforgettable and if you attended, he would be the first to meet you, greet you, and make you feel right at home. Our family gatherings will never be the same without you. His love for his mother and her love for him is something that must not go unspoken, her faith is what guides her and anchors her faith in the lords' will. Words can't describe the pain we feel, the questions we have but we know your in no more pain. You are forever loved and will always be in our thoughts and our hearts. Gone but never forgotten, rest in heaven Gabriel. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Flor Montes; step-father, Eugene Montes; father, Joe Rubio; step-mother, Elsie Rubio; sons, Matthew Rubio (Angie), Emeril Rubio, and Sebastian Rubio; grandchildren, Evelyn and Superior; brothers, Andres Rubio (Sabrina) and Joe Rubio, Jr. (Sergio); three nieces; and a host of other family and dear friends.
