In Loving Memory of Gary Morgan Matula March 2, 1941 ~ August 5, 2017 Gary Morgan Matula, 76, of Angleton, Texas passed away at his residence on August 5, 2017. He was born on March 2, 1941 in Damon, Texas to Raymon and Grace (Hurta) Matula. Memorial Services will be at Palms Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid hunter and fisherman from early in life and continued to enjoy the outdoors until his passing. He was a Supervisor at The Dow Chemical Company. Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy (Pate) Matula, his daughter, Kellie Hedlund, his brothers; Roy Matula and Gene Matula, and his sister, Peggy Snelgrove. He was preceded in death by his parents; Raymon and Grace (Hurta) Matula.
