George Wade Thompson, 72, of Danbury passed away Thursday July 30, 2020 in Clear Lake. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 4th , 2020 at Community Baptist Church in Danbury with Pastors David Smith & Gary Brittain officiating. Burial will follow in the Danbury Cemetery. Masks are recommended. George was born on March 26, 1948 in Albany, Louisiana to Jessie & Myrtis Threeton Thompson. George served in the US Coast Guard and was a Master Cabinet Builder. He was preceded in death by his brother Jesse Thompson, Jr, sister, Betty Ann Thompson Hunt & brother-in-law, Darrel Jacobson. Survivors include his wife Marcella Thompson, children; Trevor Williams, Clinton Williams and his wife April & Blaine Williams & his wife Heidi. Sisters; Joan Thompson Jacobson, Mary Jane Thompson Tate & husband Darrell & Sandra Fay Thompson. 15 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren with 1 on the way.
