George Wayne Brown

George Wayne Brown, 81 of Planters Point, passed away May 12, 2019. A visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas. George was born on August 20, 1937 to Harvey and Opal Jones Brown in Beaumont, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army, serving with the 101st Airborne Division. He was a form Municipal Court Judge for Holiday Lakes. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Brown, his son, Greg Brown, along with his half-sister, Mary Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother, John Brown. Service Details.
