Gerald Bob Area December 24, 1939 ~ July 2, 2017 Gerald Bob Area, 77, of Angleton, Texas passed away on July 2, 2017. He was born to Doris Dean and Alice Lenore Area on December 24, 1939, in Olsburg, Kansas. Gerald was a decorated Vietnam veteran and retired from the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Area; parents Doris and Alice Area; brothers Don, Dean and Byron Area; and sister, Mary Rosell. Left to cherish Gerald's memory are his children Donald Area (Patricia), Gerald Area (Paula), and Suzanne Kucera; grandchildren Alice, Ashley, Aaron, Donald, and William Area, Genafer Kucera and Zachary Kucera (Megan); great grandchildren Liana Area and Aiden Kucera; brothers Brice, Brad, and Roger Area; and his first wife Billie Jo Area.
