He was born on February 13, 1962 in Denver Colorado. Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Triumph Church with Pastor Ryan Olivier officiating. Gerard love Jesus and was a dedicated church member. He was at church as soon as the doors were open and was a member of the dream team. Gerard was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. He loved to fish and his Houston Texans. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold Towns and Lusinda (Gallegos) Towns, his son, Daniel Menchaca and his great uncle, Jerry Gallegos. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pamela Menchaca, his son's; Anthony and Jesse Menchaca, and Dustin Allen, his daughter; Callie Allen, his sister, Danielle Towns Jackson, and grandchildren; Ivan Menchaca and Allison Johnson.
