Gertrude Cecil Garrett

Gertrude C. Garrett, 86 of Angleton passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. She was born November 12, 1925 to Richard and Alouise Jurek in Wallace, Texas. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Garrett; parents; granddaughters, Kim, Dana; and brother, Gayhard Jurek. She is survived by her children, Michael Garrett and wife, Marianne, Ramona Reeder, David Garrett and wife, Penny, Pamela Meador and Danny Garrett and wife, Elizabeth; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one on the way, 3 great great grandchildren and sister, Lucy Jurek Garrett. Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday the 31st at 10:30 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home and burial will follow in Danbury Cemetery.
