Gilbert Wayne Griffith

Gilbert Wayne Griffith was born September 29th, 1939, in Anderson County, Texas to James Albert and Ivy Inez Griffith. He passed at the age of 85 into the loving of arms of his Savior on January 20th, 2025.

He was a beloved Father, Pawpaw, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid fisherman and hunter.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years; Judy Amos Griffith, parents; James Albert and Ivy Inez Griffith, brothers; Rayburn Griffith and Bobby Griffith.

He is survived by his sons; Darrin Griffith (wife Annette), Patrick Griffith, grandchildren; Caleb Griffith, Bethany Kramer (husband Ronnie), Evie Griffith, Kaitlyn Martinez (husband Dylan), and Keegan Griffith, great-grandchildren; Karrie Kramer, Everleigh and Carter Martinez, sisters; Cyndee Griffith Wilson (husband Doug) and Sue Supak, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor David Olmos officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
