Gilda Faye Fossett December 5, 1946 - April 7, 2017 Gilda Faye Fossett, 69, of Angleton, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1946 in Velasco, Texas to Orville Floyd & Annie Gertrude (Taylor) Browning. Memorial services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Angleton Fire Station (Station 1) located at 221 N. Chenango. Gilda was a loving wife to Gary Fossett for 47 years and a loving mother to Robbie Fossett and Lisa Gingrich. She never met a stranger; everyone who met her fell in love with her instantly. Her family will remember her as the strongest woman they've ever known. Everything Gilda set out to do she did very well. Gilda loved attending rock concerts with her son with KISS being her favorite rock and roll band. She and Lisa loved spending time with each other doing craft shows. A few of Gilda's favorite things to do was hunt and fish. She was an avid garage sell shopper and loved to receive power tools for gifts. Gilda will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers; Elvis, Floyd, and Thomas Browning. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gary Fossett, son, Robbie Fossett, her daughter Lisa Gingrich and her husband, Karl, her brother, Weldon Browning and his wife Norma Gail, her furr-daughter, Teca and her furr-grandbabies; Abby and Patch.
