Gladys Caroline (Dunn) Baldwin, 92, of Angleton passed away on February 24, 2025. Gladys was born on July 10, 1932, in Kerrville to George and Augusta (Baethge) Dunn. She married Donald Reid Baldwin on July 13, 1951, in Palacios, Texas
Gladys found joy in studying God’s word, ministering to others and tending to her yard. She had a passion for ministry and dedicated her time to Sunday school, vacation Bible school and working with the Royal Rangers. For a number of years, she served as the “Juice Lady” at Country Village Care, where she not only provided refreshments but also both warmth and encouragement to the residents through pray and meaningful conversations. Gladys was an inspiration to those around her, leading by example of her faith, kindness, and selfless service. She touched countless lives with her love and devotion.
Those that preceded her in death include her husband Donald, her parents, her daughter Sharon Ann Robertson, son Donald Reid Baldwin Jr and grandson Kristopher Wayne Baldwin.
Left to treasure her memory are her children; Pamela K. (Don) Zgarba, Robert W. (Crystal) Baldwin, and Kelly G. (Monique) Baldwin; grandchildren: Christy Liddy, Nathan (Angie) Zgarba, Jeremy (Lisa) Zgarba, and Tasha Smith, Chelsie (Zavion) Winegeart, Hollie Baldwin, Preston (Haven) Baldwin, Kaleb Baldwin, Ezekiel Baldwin. 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at First Church Angleton with Pastor Mike Hammond officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
