Gloria Virginia Mcreynolds

Gloria Virginia McReynolds, 82 of Angleton passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. Gloria was born December 11, 1938 in Humble Texas on Moonshine Hill to John G Gundy Sr and Lena Pearl Gundy. She spent her school years in West Columbia Tx where she met Thomas and they married on February 24, 1957. After high school she pursued a career in cosmetology and loved doing that for many years. Gloria had many interests she was a talented painter, loved to crotchet, make ceramics and taking pictures. She enjoyed capturing her family and the places she went with husband of 63 years, Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents John G Gundy Sr and Lena Pearl Gundy; Brother John G Gundy Jr ; Sisters, Laura Marie Buford, Anna May Tyler, Julie Francis Tyler and Eleanor Florence Elliot; great granddaughter Dakota Wren Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas James McReynolds; Daughter, Cynthia Lanette Tribble & husband Buster; son, Thomas James McReynolds Jr, 4 grand children, 17 great grandchildren children and 1 great great grandson. Pallbearers will be Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Alex Sauceda III, Andrew Sauceda, Jaydon Rodriguez, Aadon Sauceda, and Drake Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton Texas. Reverend Thomas Lester will be officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Houston Texas. Space is limited Due to COVID-19 & Masks are required. Service Details.
