Grace Ann Hines, beloved wife of Michael Lee Hines, passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born on January 29, 1951, and leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held dear by her loved ones. Grace Ann was a woman with a heart of gold and a contagious laugh with a zest for life. She had a magnetic personality that drew people in and made them feel instantly at ease in her presence. Her warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted partner to her husband Michael, standing by his side through thick and thin, sharing in both joys and sorrows. Their love story was one that many admired and served as an inspiration to others. Grace Ann believed in the power of family and treasured her time spent with loved ones. She had a special bond with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations to come. In her free time, Grace Ann was a master gardener who enjoyed working in her garden, as well as baking with her grandchildren through the holidays. She was a devoted woman of God who spent her time teaching children’s Sunday school and an active member of Willow Drive Baptist Church.
Grace Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Adrienne Desio; and her sister: Doreen.
Left to treasure an abundance of memories are her husband, Michael Lee Hines. sons: Michael James Hines and wife Bridgett of Richwood, TX, Joseph Nicholas Hines and wife Kari of Bastrop, TX; grandchildren: Jacob, Abigail, Charlotte, Michael Frank, and Scarlett; sisters: Alisa Peragine and husband John of Freehold, NJ, Maria Elena of New York State, Pamela of New York State; brother: Melvin Hines and Pat of Angleton, TX; nieces: Lori Buhagiar, Alexa Peragine, Gabrielle Peragine and Gianna Peragine; nephew: Matthew Peragine; great niece’s: Sierra Buhagiar, Olivia Buhagiar and Addie Peragine; and numerous other family members and friends.
Grace Ann's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.
A time of visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service following at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Palms Funeral Home of Angleton, TX.
