Grover L. Guillot

Grover Luther Guillot, known to most as G.L., was born December 10, 1933 to Luther and Mabel Guillot in Lubbock, Texas. G.L. passed away on January 1, 2015, after a lengthy illness. G.L. went to school in Lubbock, Tx and went to Texas Tech University before joining the U.S. Navy for 4 years. G.L. is preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Hanlon, son Toby Guillot and stepson Joe Alan Westbrook. Survivors include his wife Alene Westbrook Guillot, son Billy Mitchell (Stephanie), daughters Vicki Tindell (Richard), and Neta Henderson (Kevin), stepchildren Tony Westbrook (Pam) and Deborah Chambers (Vernon). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly. As an active member of the Angleton Danbury Hospital Auxillary, he enjoyed interacting with the public as they came in to the hospital. G.L. was a member of the First Baptist Church in Angleton, where he enjoyed driving the church bus to pick up the kids for Wednesday night services.
