Guadalupe "Lupe" Gonzales

Guadalupe "Lupe" Gonzales, owner and operator of Gonzales and Son's Trucking company passed away unexpectedly on February 12,2023 at the age of 80. Lupe was born on June 9, 1942 to Isidro and Candida (Luera) Gonzales in Arcola, Tx. Lupe resided for many years in Angleton, Tx and Houston, Tx. He was a hard worker and was very skilled in solving problems that others would say couldn't be done. He enjoyed fishing and keeping busy. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Lupe is preceded by his parents, Isidro and Candida, his siblings, Delores Gonzales, Simon Gonzales, Zenaida Gonzales-Hyatt, Isidro Gonzales Jr., and Angel Gonzales. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Margarita Gonzales and their daughter Natalie, children from his previous marriage, Gregory, Cynthia, Guadalupe Jr, and Gilbert. Siblings, Luisa Gonzales and Eliceo Gonzales. 8 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on February 20, 2023 at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Lege officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
