Hazel Terry

Hazel Terry, 88, of Angleton,TX, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014. She was born February, 14, 1926 in Dierks, Arkansas to Thomas & Annice "Rea" Lipscomb She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Andrew M. Terry, Brother, Archie Lipscomb, Sister, Austeen Brewer, and her Brother- in- law, Odis Terry. Hazel is survived by her son, Doug Terry and wife, Penny, granddaughter, Dwan Terry Green, and grandsons, "Mickey" & Flynn Bellott. She had 11 great grand children that she enjoyed seeing and hearing funny stories about. She is also survived by her brother, Wayne Lipscomb, brother- in - law, George Terry (Joyce), brother- in- law, Joe Terry (Bobbie). Sister- in - law, Mary Hockaday, Sister- in- law, Gloria Terry. Hazel loved the Lord and studied her Bible faithfully, witnessing to anyone she could. She was a great mother, a wonderful mother-in-law, and the best grandmother to her grandchildren. Her granddaughter would have her play in tents, Barbies, read her books, played games with her, what- ever Dwan wanted Grandma Arkansas to do she did. The grandsons enjoyed going to Ark. they got to ride the horse, go out to shoot the guns. They would go in the woods with Pops Terry and with Doug. Hazel was always helping people out, was a good friend to everyone she met. Everyone she met loved her sweet smile, her loving heart, her kindness and she could always make everyone laugh. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 2-5:00 p.m. also at Palms Funeral Home.
