Helen Louise Frisbie, born June 22, 1930, in Bloomburg, Cass County, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 94, with family by her side. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was welcomed into Heaven by the love of her life of 56 years Clarence “Bud” Frisbie. Those left to cherish her memory are her three children: sons Steven Ray Frisbie of Lewisville, Texas, and Gary Michael Frisbie and wife Shauna of Lubbock, Texas, and daughter Sharon Frisbie Trower and husband Mark of Angleton, Texas; as well as 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A proud graduate of Monahans High School in 1949, Helen spent many years in Monahans, Texas, where she became known for her strong business acumen. Alongside her husband, she founded an RV sales business that became highly successful, even outselling many dealerships in larger cities. Her entrepreneurial spirit continued when she moved to San Angelo, Texas, where she pursued a career as a licensed real estate agent.
Helen was known for her determined mind and unwavering will. If something wasn’t right, she would let you know, but this strength of character was always coupled with her deep faith. She instilled the importance of faith in Jesus Christ in her family, and her devotion to the teachings of Christ was unwavering. Her faith, along with her family and friendships, were the cornerstones of her life.
Even as she lived independently until the age of 94, Helen never lost her sharp mind nor her commitment to her beliefs. She was a cherished member in good standing of Northway Baptist Church in Angleton, Texas, where her strong faith and indomitable spirit touched all who knew her.
Helen's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her courage, her compassion, and her love for those around her. Family, friendship, and faith were always her priorities, and she made sure to let everyone know just how much they meant to her.
Mom, your Life was a blessing to all of us, your memory a treasure. We will always remember your outward shine and sparkle. We love you and you will forever have a special place in our hearts.
Celebration of her Life will take place Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Northway Baptist Church in Angleton. The Family will hold interment on Wednesday February 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
