Helen Helms

Helen Helms of Angleton, Texas passed away at her home on October 9, 2015 at the age of 92. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Valliant Cemetery in Valliant, Oklahoma. Helen was born on November 2, 1922 in Bennington, Oklahoma to James and Maggie Jeter McCord. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Helms in 1995. Helen was a member of Second Baptist Church in Angleton. Helen is survived by her sons, James Helms and wife, Becky of Angleton; and Daryl Helms and wife, Vickie of Andrews, Texas; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
