Helen Marie Vance, 87, of Angleton passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 in Houston. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Brazoria Cemetery, Brazoria, Texas. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1-5 at Palms Funeral Home. Helen was born February 4, 1927 in Damon, Texas to Walter & Alice (Holewyn) Langston. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church of Angleton and was a beautician in Angleton for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; Collie Allen Vance, son; John Thomas Anderson, daughter; Shirley Fay Anderson Gavin, sisters; Thelma Jones & Janice Amason Brothers; Hilliard & J.W. Langston and great-grandaughter; Erica Collard. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Vance of Angleton, brother; Walter Langston & wife Judy of Angleton 7 - Grandchildren; Connie Wilson & husband David, Doreena Coleman & husband Ray, Bubba Griffin & wife Lisa, Larissa Smith & husband Chip, Dawnya Sims, Tina Collard & husband Kelly & John Allen Anderson and 15 great-grandchildren.
