Herman Roy Wood, Jr., 64, of Angleton, Texas passed away at his home on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born in Winnie, Texas to Herman R. & Mildred Wood, Sr. on April 24, 1951. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday morning. Herman was a loving father and an avid camper and hiker. Anyone who knew him; knew his life was the Sheriff's Office, and being a Brazoria County Sheriff Officer. He loved to work the Brazoria County Fair and Mounted Patrol. Herman loved everyone he met and was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; Herman R. & Mildred Wood, Sr. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Katie Wood (fiance, Jonathan Keel), his loving ex-wife, Ginger Wood, and his beloved dog, Bubba.
