Homer "Buddy" Thomas Prunty June 25, 1931 ~ July 3, 2017 Homer "Buddy" Thomas Prunty, 86, of Angleton, Texas passed away on July 3, 2017. He was born to Evelyn Lois and Homer Thomas Prunty on June 25, 1931, in Freeport, Texas. He provided community service for 50 years while working for the Brazoria County Sheriff's Department and Brazoria County Road and Bridge. Homer also managed the show cattle for J.T. Garrett for many years. He is proceeded in death by his parents Evelyn Lois Yauch Prunty and Homer Thomas Prunty and his sister, Florence Helen Harvey. Left to cherish Homer's memory is his loving wife Kathrine Prunty. Services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Palms Funeral Home. The visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment at Danbury Cemetery will follow.
