Hortencia (RT) Estrada (83) of Angleton, Texas passed away Sunday March 23,2025 with family by her side. Hortencia was born July 13,1941 in Victoria, Texas to Roberto and Sara Hernandez. Hortencia and Pablo have been in love since 1968 and were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 25,1997, She was a devoted wife, mother, and the world’s greatest grandmother. 

She loved caring for others as a healthcare provider for many years until she retired. Hortencia loved dancing, gardening, and thrift shopping, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Sara Hernandez; her sons, Paul Estrada Jr, Robert Paul Estrada, Daughter Paula Estrada; Son in law Juan Hernandez Jr; Grandson, Justin Pena Sr; Great Grandchildren, Cameron and Camila Pena; Siblings, Aurelio, Consuelo, Guadalupe, Aurora. 

She is survived by her Children, Priscilla (Steve) Solis, Patricia (Chi-Cha) Hernandez, Henry, Rudy, Omelia, Elizabeth; Step Children, Joe, Alice, Dolores, Susie, Mary; Daugter-in-Law, Yanira Estrada (Ismael); Sister, Mary Lou Soliz; Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild. 

Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, on Thursday March 27, 2025 at 6:00 pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm. A last viewing will be held on March 28, 2025 at Palms Funeral Home at 12:00pm, a Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Freeport at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
