On November 17, 2015, Isaac (Ike) Del Toro Garza joined his wife, Mary, in our Heavenly Father's kingdom. Ike was born November 17, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Luis O. Garza and Clemencia Del Toro Garza. He had three brothers, Roman Garza (deceased), Ruben Garza (Oralia) and Rolando Garza (Rosalinda), and one sister, Noemi Garza. Services are scheduled for 3:00 in the afternoon on Monday, November 23, 2015 in the chapel at Palms Funeral Home. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday. He grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, where he graduated from Edinburg High School in 1967 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1968, serving through 1975. He met Mary Trevino, the love of his life, and after a brief courtship they married on May 24, 1969. Ike was a generous, kind-hearted man who never met a stranger and would give whatever he could to help anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Garza, and his brother, Roman. He is survived by his son Marty DeLeon (Cynthia), daughter Millie Saenz, daughter Ericka Rickie Fullbright, and daughter Amanda Adkins (Brian); grandchildren Marcus Saenz Sr., Alexis Saenz, Martin Bubba DeLeon, Lisa Reyes (Eddie), Stephanie DeLeon, Raven Fullbright and Ryan Fullbright; great grandchildren Marcus Saenz Jr., Caitlyn Aldrich, Cayleb Aldrich, Christian Adkins, Layla Adkins, Aiyana Reyes, Kacen Maier, and Nadiya DeLeon.
