Israel F. Gonzales Israel F. Gonzales, 78, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on June 19, 2015. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2015 from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:30pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Israel was born on December 29, 1936 in Uvalde, Texas to Manuel and Elisa Flores Gonzales. Israel was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tomasa Gonzales; brother, Armando Gonzales; sister, Antonia DeLarosa. Israel is survived by his sons, Noe Gonzales and wife, Kelly; Israel Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Joyce; Johnny Gonzales; Moses Gonzales and wife, Mindy; daughters, Susan G. Montalvo and husband, Carlos; Mary G. Rodriguez and husband, Antonio; Elsie Rubio and husband, Joe; Elisa Reynolds and husband, Jared; sisters, Olga Gonzales and Margarita Godina; brothers, Johnny Gonzales and wife, Sylvia, and Santos Gonzales and wife, Diona, Raymond Gonzales and wife Judy. He also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family and friends. Israel will always be remembered by his saying, "taking it one day at a time."
