Jacqueline E. James

Jacqueline James, 80 of Angleton passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born August 28, 1937 in Kelly, Louisiana to Alfred and Mae Ethelene Esters. Jacqueline was a longtime resident of Angleton, she was employed with the Brazoria County District Clerk. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmommy, and Ma Ma that put her family first. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved having everyone over and cooking for them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ethelene Esters, brothers, Harvey and Bruce Esters, sisters, Yvonne, Faye, Wilma, and Francille, and grandsons, Johney and Kevin James. Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Johney James, children, Scott Elliott and wife, Tammy, Debra Garcia, John James and wife, Lauree, Bobby James and wife, Linda, grandchildren, Amanda Parker, Eric James, Wendy James, Kate Elliott, Nick Elliott, Amy Alvarado, Heidi James, and Angela Oswald, great grandchildren, Kendall and Collin Oswald, Luke Campbell, Avery and Clay Parker. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Palms Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services for Jacqueline will be on Wednesday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
