James Alan Green

James Alan Green, 82, of Angleton, Texas passed away August 26, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was born January 17, 1933 in Preston, Oklahoma to George & Iva Mae (Shaw) Green. James was a retired Military Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He served in the United States Army, Navy, and Air Force. He served as Commander in the VFW Sweeny Post #8551. He was a loving father and grandfather. To sum up James in one word he was just awesome. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ann Green, son, Billy Green, as well as numerous siblings. Survivors include his daughters; Joni Green Hobbs, & Sandra Green, his sister, Jo Ann Bond, and two grandsons; Warren Green and Gordon Becker.
