James Arnold "Arnie" Moore

James Arnold “Arnie” Moore, 66 of Freeport passed away on January 4th, 2025. Arnie was born June17th, 1958, in Galveston, Texas to Ernest and Wilhelmina Moore. He is preceded in death by both parents. He is leaving behind his longtime partner Jessie Royale & his best friend and companion Sonny (his Rottweiler) to treasure their time and memories together. Also leaving behind his brother Michael Moore and his favorite Aunt, Shirley.

Arnie was a Longshoreman in the petrochemical industry.

But Arnie was better known for his big heart and always extending a helping hand to those in need. He took meetings into Brazos Place for over a decade. He was house manager for Pathway to Recovery & was active with local corner store ministry. He was quite a prankster as well, always enjoying making people laugh and bringing a smile to others. He has left his imprint on many & will be missed and memories treasured by countless acquaintances & friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery.
