James Koonce

James Robert (Jim) Koonce received his complete healing from ALS and went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the age of 61. He was born January 5, 1953 in Angleton, Texas to Robert and Lenora Koonce. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Koonce. He is survived by the love of his life, Toni Ford; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Lynn and Jason; son and daughter-in-law, Trevor Koonce and Laura; brother, Joe Koonce; mother of his children, Lisa Koonce; grandchildren, Brayden and Caleb Lynn; and numerous cousins. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at Brazospointe Fellowship in Lake Jackson, TX. One of Jim's last wishes was to help someone else with ALS. He was very fortunate to have the love and support of so many friends and family, and he knew there were others dealing with this disease that didn't have the same kind of support.
