James Locker Henley

James Locker Henley, 86 of Angleton passed away on May 24, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born in Austwell, TX on November 4, 1931. Public Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10-11:00 am in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with a rosary to be recited at 11:00am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am on May 29, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery. James loved to travel with his wife, woodworking and making wood Christmas yard decorations. He was an avid bowler in his younger days and played football in High School. James served his country in the US Coast Guard and retired from DOW after 45yrs of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet, parents James & Margaret Henley, brother Robert Henley, daughter-in-law Leslie Henley, step-mom Inez Henley and nephew Bobby Henley. James is survived by his sons Michael Henley and wife Margie, and Mitchell Henley, brothers Gilbert "Gilmond" Henley, David Henley and Pat Henley, grandchildren Bridgett Honeycutt and husband AJ, Laura Chavana and husband Rey, Amanda Martinez and husband Luis and Ryan Henley and wife Chelsea, and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and friends. In Lieu of floral remembrances the family asks that donations be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
