James "Jimmy" Louis Swallows Born October 5, 1964 in Houston TX Died August 12, 2013 at the young age of 48 after a year-long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Graduated from Sterling High School in 1983 in Houston, TX He was a hardworking man and devoted 20 years to the Dr Pepper/Snapple company located in Houston, TX. James was a devoted, loving husband & father. He was well liked by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Louis Swallows of Diboll & his mother, Pamela Castleberry of Brazoria. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jaure-Swallows, his 5 children, Amber, Jamie, Jessie, Sienna 2 grandchildren, Aiden Sister Debbie Valdez and husband Vince of Angleton; brother, Billy Swallows of Brazoria; his grandmother Josie Swallows of Lufkin & great grandmother, Wanda Hill of Houston; as well as numerous nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Thank you to all for your continued prayers, love, kindness & support. It will be forever remembered & greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17th at 2pm at Christian Tabernacle, located at 650 W. CR 341 (Henderson) in Angleton, TX In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of the family to Moody National Bank in Angleton (James Swallows Benefit Account).
