James Willis Sparks James Willis Sparks, 89, of Angleton passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017 in Angleton. He was born December 27, 1927 in Bay City, Texas to James & Berta Hobbs Sparks. Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Monday May 1, 2017 at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4-6 at Palms. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Sparks, son Ronald Sparks & brother Bert John Sparks. Survivors include his sons; Randy & Lynette Sparks & Ricky & Debbie Sparks both of Angleton & Russell & Hitomi Sparks of Spain. Sister, Thelma Lee Hobbs of San Antonio. Grandchildren; Kyndole Bennet, Justin Soell, Maggie Nutt, Danna Nims, Brandt Sparks & Steve Trosper. Grandchildren; Abi & Ptrick Nims & Sophia Soell.
