Jamie Jo Campbell of Rosharon, 71, entered into eternal rest at her home Thursday April 14, 2022 after an extended illness. She was born in Fairbault, MN to Eileen Gewecki and James Campbell. She has been a resident of Rosharon for the past 30+ years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Jamie's passion was focused around relationships; first with her Lord and Savior and then her family and friends, which were many. Those who met her would remember her engaging personality and words of encouragement. She was known for helping those in need even when she was in need herself. Her swimming pool was her place for healing, both her body and soul. We will all miss her, and may she rest in peace as she now joins Mary Horta, her soulmate. Jamie worked as a nurse most of her career both at local facilities and for an insurance company. Jamie was survived by her two sons Robert Karetny and Bryan Karetny, daughter-in-law Susan Karetny, her four grandchildren Jordon, Max, Ava and Evan, and her two great-grandchildren Soren and Valynn, her siblings Bunny Buoy, Dwayne Kingry and Renae King, plus a blessing of nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Jamie Campbell will be held on April 30th, 10:30 am at Sandy Point Bible Church, the family will lay her to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
