In Loving Memory Of Jan (Cooksey) Reedy Greer September 12, 1941 ~ July 13, 2022 Jan Reedy Greer, 80, of Friendswood, Texas passed away peacefully in the early hours of Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022. She was born in Conroe, Texas to L.C. and Lucy (Wells) Cooksey, Jr. on September 12, 1941. Jan was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, mother-in-law and prayer warrior. Jan loved to make personalized cards and send them out to everyone. She used her card making as her personal ministry to others. Jan loved the Lord and was a lover of pretty things, including flowers. She was a bright and happy lady. She loved all crafts, including coloring books. She was an original member of the First Baptist Church in Angleton and was one of the first members to be baptized. In Jan's earlier years she was a twirler and drum major. Jan was a people person and a people pleaser. Jan will be remembered for her infectious laugh. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Angleton, Texas located at 972 Anchor Road Angleton, Texas 77515. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 until service time. Left to cherish Jan's memory are her children: Kelly Reedy and wife, Nancy, Michael Greer and wife, Jennifer and Mindy Rives and husband, Sean. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Austin, Kamden and Jordyn Reedy, Tristan Greer and Elizabeth Perrine (Brandon), and Reagan and Reed Rives, her siblings: L.C. "Buddy" Cooksey (Charlotte), Coy Cooksey, and Tommy Cooksey (Tricia) as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Awaiting Jan's arrival in Heaven were her parents: L.C. and Lucy (Wells) Cooksey, Jr. and her husband, Paul Ellis Greer as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
