Jeanette Patterson Castle

Jeanette Patterson Castle, 80, of Angleton, Texas passed away on February 18, 2022. Jeanette was born on December 17, 1941 in Baytown, Texas to Leonard Frank and Agnes (Ptacek) Clawson. She also had two younger siblings. Jeanette attended Robert E. Lee High School and while finishing her senior year in high school, she married Joseph Patterson, Jr. After graduating, they moved to Angleton where Jeanette continued her work as a beautician. In the years following, they had three children and she spent time raising her family and attending and volunteering for their school and extracurricular activities. She also loved to garden, paint and crochet. Her family was everything to her and she thoroughly enjoyed cooking homemade meals for them with items from her garden. In order to help her husband, complete his college degree, she started working at Texas Instruments where she worked for the next 25 years. A few years after losing the love of her life, Joseph, she met and later married Lamon Castle. Both were retired and enjoyed going Polka Dancing and traveling - they especially loved cruising. They were members of the Texas Polka Club and El Campo Dance Club. Memorial Services for Jeanette will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Palms Funeral Home. Left to cherish Jeanette's memory are children: Charlene Patterson Kaase, & husband David, Nicol Patterson and Joseph Patterson, III & wife Lori; also her grandchildren: Julia Kaase, Brady Kaase and Alexa Patterson. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Leonard F. Clawson and Agnes Clawson, husbands Joseph Patterson, Jr. and Lamon Castle.
