Jerry Eldon Foley

Jerry left his body of clay behind to join his son for eternity. Those of us who love him grieve but rejoice with him for this reunion. Jerry never got over the loss of Shane. Jerry Eldon Foley was born to Warren and Minnie Foley on June 8, 1944 in Limestone County. He left this earth on Monday, February 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his only son, Shane Foley, his parents and two brothers, Eddie and W.A. Foley, sister, Elnora Brown and beloved brother-in-law, Leonard Brown. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Donna Foley, his two daughters, Lanna Webb and husband, Russell and Shara Nelson and husband, Ben. He also leaves behind the joys of his life, five grandchildren, Lane Webb, Zo Webb, Sonni Nelson, Aliyah Nelson and Zadok Nelson. He also leaves behind through adoptive love the Mendoza family, Mike, Diane, Kelsie, Maddie and Stella. Others he leaves behind are brothers, Milton Foley and wife, Kathy, W.A. Foley and wife, Gwen, sisters-in-law, Georgia and Barbara Foley. Other family members include brother-in-law, Ricky Schultz,II and wife, Patty, Jerry Schultz and wife, Darla and sister-in-law Susan Sweeton and husband, Rick. Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and countless friends. Public visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Palms Funeral Home. There will be no services held. Thank you for honoring the desire of our family for a private time at the gravesite to say our final goodbyes. Service Details.
