Jerry J. Mills 53, of Richwood, TX, went to be with The Lord Friday Feb.15, 2013 in Lake Jackson, TX. He was born Jan.18, 1960 in Chillicothe, MO, to James and Judy Mills, but has been a resident of Texas for the past 25+ years. He was a member of New Birth Baptist Church in Freeport, TX. Jerry was a lover of the word of God. He is survived by one son, T.J. Mills of Angleton, TX, his parents, James(Jim) and Judy Mills of Big Spring, TX, One brother, Jay and wife Anita Mills of Plummer, ID, two sisters, Julie Williams and Janet Dugger and husband Joe of Angleton, TX. Also a very close friend, Tony Diaz and family of Brazoria, TX. There will be a viewing and visitation at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, TX, Thursday February 21 from 11-12:00p.m., Graveside services will follow at 1:00p.m. in Angleton cemetery with his father, James Mills officiating assisted by Dennis Vosburg. Pallbearers are Tony Diaz, Dustin Sims, Chase Murphy, Elliott Lunford, Chris Williams and Jay Mills. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palms Funeral Home 2300 E.
