Jesse "Boone" DeLeon Jesse "Boone" DeLeon, 65, a longtime resident of Angleton, TX, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Houston Methodist Hospital. He was born January 30, 1950, in Bay City, TX to Jesse and Dominga DeLeon. He was known by family and friends as "Boone". Boone graduated from Angleton High School in 1969, and shortly thereafter became a member of the United States Marine Corps and he proudly served our country for 4 years. Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, etc, the man had many titles. All of which meant that he had a special place in the hearts of others. This is because he welcomed all with an open heart and an open home. His favorite past-times included jamming out on the guitar and singing, Barbequing with family and friends, and cheering on his favorite Houston teams, The Rockets, The Astros, and especially The Texans. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his wife of 42 years, Maria DeLeon, and his grandchildren, of whom he was very proud. Boone is survived by his wife Maria DeLeon of Angleton, TX; his daughters Beatrice Hawkins (Brian), Olivia DeLeon (Dwayne), and Dominga DeLeon (Jacob); his son Eric Soria; his grandchildren Sarah & Terrance Rasberry, Amaya & Jalen Marshall, Ella & Emma Tautges; great-grandchild Jasiah DeLeon-Rasberry; siblings Lupe Briseno (Jesus), Becky Soria, Sandra Leal (Abel), Joe John DeLeon (Dina), Debbie Martinez (William), and Carol Ramirez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
