Jesus Escamilla Ramirez was born October 27, 1930, in Runge, TX to Rosendo and Anita Ramirez. After living in the Corpus Christi area, he married the love of his life Manuela Ramirez on May 22, 1960. Jesus was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite things to do were listening to music and spending time with family. In his 20 years of being in the Angleton area he was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by Rosendo Ramirez (father), Anita Ramirez (mother), Eliberto Ramirez (brother), Refugia Cruz (sister), and Eulalia Alvarez (sister). Survived by his wife Manuela Ramirez; children Elizabeth Howell (Max), Lorena Hinojosa (Gumesindo), Jesus Adan Ramirez (Hortensa), Flor Imelda Dow (Dennis); 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother Rosendo Ramirez, Jr.; sisters Lydia Rosales, Carolina Ramirez, and Maria Saenz. There will be a visitation on Wednesday March 2, 2022, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, TX. A mass will be held on Thursday March 3, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Service Details.
