Jim Bob McGehee, 75 of Angleton passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Jim Bob was born July 26, 1937 in Pilot Point, Texas to John and Merlee McGehee. He was an US Army Veteran; a member of the Masonic Lodge in Solgohachia, AR and a former member of the Scottish Rites in Houston, TX. Jim Bob worked for Brown and Root for 25 years in the petrochemical plants as a pipefitter, boilermaker and all around multicraft. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Leroy Brown and daughter, Rhonda Shelley. Jim Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn of Angleton; sons, Doug McGehee of Morrilton, AR and Shawn McGehee (Shari) of Conway, AR; daughters, Kelly Darter (Ricky) of Morrilton, AR and Lorie Gray of La Grange, TX; sister, Shirley Koontz of Morrilton, AR; five granddaughters, three grandsons, one great grandson and his extended family at Cypresswoods Care Center in Angleton.
