Jo Ann Rachunek, 82, gained her angel wings on July 3, 2018. She was born in Eupora, MS on July 26, 1935 to Ina and Burl Oswalt. She relocated to southeast Texas as a teenager. Jo Ann married the love of her life, Richard Rachunek 8/1/1955. Together they had four beautiful children, three of which survived. She was the most loving, caring, and sweetest woman. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, aunt sister and many other titles. She was the definition of unconditional love. Her smile was infectious and had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. We mourn our loss but more importantly, we celebrate her wonderful life. Jo Ann loved music and passed this on to her kids, grandkids and even great-grands. She got a new 45 rpm every couple of weeks from her record club. Here's some lyrics from her favorite - Elvis. What at last my dreams come true Darling this I know Happiness will follow you Everywhere you go. Survived by husband of 63 years Richard Rachunek, Sons Rick (Tracy), Gregory Paul (dec) and Michael (Cindy) and daughter Regina (Brent). Also survived by her sister Linda Rupe and SIL Gloria Oswalt. She leaves 10 grandchildren Nathan, Trey (dec), Lindsay, Haley, Brittany, Bailey, Joey, Bo, Charli, and three great grandchildren Rafa, Levi, and Brynlee. She adored her grandkids.
