Jo Anna (Filipp) Rude January 5, 1965 - April 6, 2016 Jo Anna Rude (Mama Jo) died peacefully with her kids surrounding her bedside in Galveston, Texas at UTMB on April 6, 2016. Jo Anna was born on January 5, 1965 in Houston, Texas to Eddie and Shirley Filipp. Jo Anna Rude graduated from Danbury High School. Jo Anna passed peacefully from complications of an illness. Jo was a great mother, daughter, and friend to many. She always made sure others were happy and cooked for many. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Palms Funeral Home. A ceremony will be held at a later date still to be determined as her wishes to be cremated. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jo Anna's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Palms Funeral Home. Jo Anna Is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Shirley Filipp of Danbury, Texas. Jo Anna is survived by her kids, Corey Lukasheay and fianc Morgan, Dustin Rude and wife Tori, and Reagan Rude and fianc Joe. She is also survived by brothers David and Gregg Filipp, and nephews Tyler, Cody, and Cord Filipp. The Family would like to say thanks to the many friends of the family.
