John Herbert Pastusek

John Herbert Pastusek was born in Olney, Texas 69 years ago and passed away at his home in Holiday Lakes, Texas on September 17, 2020. John's big heart finally gave up the fight. John is survived by Linda McCall, his love and longtime companion, their 5 fur babies, his mother and stepfather Genette and Farest Smith of Angleton, Tx, son Evan Pastusek and wife Elena of Lubbock, Tx, Eric Pastusek and wife Amber of League City, Tx. Bonus children Ann Smith and husband David of La Porte, Tx, Stephanie Walker and husband John of Angleton, Tx, and Frankie Shell of Freeport, TX. Also left to cherish his memory is his brother Kenneth Pastusek and wife Nanette of Denton, Tx, sister Diane Crenshaw and husband Greg of Angleton, Tx, sister Cynthia Bennet and husband Bubba of Danbury, Tx, and sister Susan Seibel and husband Pete of Waxahachie, Tx. 8 Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him deeply. John was an exceptional person that had many talents and interests. For example, he took oil painting lessons and produced beautiful western paintings. He also had a love for singing so Willie Nelson became his go to at the Hitching Post on karaoke nights. He loved to cook and feed those he loved. We believe he would have been a winner on Jeopardy or Who Wants to be a Millionaire, he was our Google before Google was a thing.
