Jose Angel Banda

Jose Angel Banda, Jr., 75, of Angleton passed away on October 13, 2024. Jose was born on September 21, 1949, in Yorktown to Jose Angel Banda Sr. and Maria (Silguero) Banda. 

Jose enjoyed wood carving playing pool, dancing, being outside “doing the yard”, or while indoors watching wrestling and his western shows. His greatest treasure was the time that he was able to spend with his family.

Those that preceded him in death are his parents: Jose Banda, Sr. and Maria Silguero Banda; Samuel Banda, Sr., and Santos Banda, Sr.

Left to remember him are his children: Adolph Banda, Felicia Martinez, Bobby Ray Banda, Alicia Luna, and Monica Bustos; sister: Cruz Zapata; grandchildren: Johnathan Banda, Crystal Gonzales, Briana Banda, Justn Banda, Jacob Banda, Jasmine Martinez, Jennette Martinez, Mario Martinez, Jr., Greyson Bustos, Mason Perez, Richard Hernandez, III, Carina Hernandez, and Anthony Luna; great grandchildren: Eli, Cole, C.J., Ashley, Leighanna, Emilina, Diego, Olivia, Makayla, Makenzie, Madeline, Jessa, Lakelin, Jeremiah, and Aiden; and numerous other family members and friends. 

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Rosary following at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Palms Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eric Zapata, Mario Martinez, Sr., Anthony Luna, Mathew Sosa, Johnathan Banda, and Theodore Marin.
