Jose Barrera

Jose Victor Barrera, 41, of Rosharon went home to his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2021. Jose began his life journey on June 19, 1980, in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas Mexico when he was born to parents Jose and Mirna (Silva) Barrera. Jose married Elena Briseno on Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Angleton, Texas. Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved watching his kids participate in the activities they loved like football, track, dance, karate, music and soccer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecuing, watching Texans football and being the life of the party. Those that preceded him in death include his grandparents: Roman Silva Saenz & Desideria Gomez Garcia; Donato Barrera Ramirez & Magdalena Gonzalez Barrera. Left to treasure his memory include his wife, Elena Barrera; children: Alejandro Alberto Barrera, Bianca Belinda Barrera and Sofilla Susana Barrera his parents: Jose and Mirna (Silva) Barrera, brother Edgar Barrera, sister Mirna Berenice Barrera, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Pastor Collin Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Service Details.
