Jose Castor Segovia

Jose Castor Segovia, 82, of Holiday Lakes, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2023. He was born to his parents Paula Segovia Castor and Gilberto Castor in Mexico on June 8, 1941. He was a resident of Texas for over 50 years, where he raised his family.

Jose was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. If it involved him being outdoors you could count him in! Jose was a loving father and grandfather. His family recalls, "You couldn't run in and out of the store quick with Jose…EVERYONE knew him and he stopped to talk to everyone he knew. If you were lucky enough to be a friend to Jose, you were lucky enough to share a cup of coffee with him. His friends and family will surely miss their coffee time with Jose.

Left to cherish Jose's memory are his children: David Castor (wife, Delores), Lorena Martinez (husband, Noe), his brother, Estevan Castor, his sister, Maria Louisa Castor. Jose is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and his 1 great-grandchild.

Awaiting Jose's arrival in Heaven was his wife, Otilia Castor, his brother, Manuel Castor, his sisters: Juana Castor and Luz Castor, and his parents, Gilberto and Paula Segovia Castor

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. prior to service time at Palms Funeral Home located at 2300 East Mulberry Angleton, Texas 77515. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home.
